  10. I recently purchased a Sportster Vi V.34 modem. However, I could
  11. not connect to my ISP which is using AT&T 14.4 Dataport running
  12. under linux. It can dial but after it would try to handshake with
  13. the AT&T, the comm program would send out "No Carrier" message.
  14. Even though I'm using it on a PC with an older serial card, it's
  15. supposed to just adjust to the speed to it. I've tested calling
  16. using different speed from 19.2 down to 4800 but still no connection.

  18. I've tested my Sportster by calling another sportster, and everthing
  19. seemed to have connected, and vice-versa.
